Athletics

Advanced sign-ups are required and there is a fee associated with participation. Scholarships are available.

The following intramural sports will be offered this year:

  • All grades: Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Floorball, and Badminton

  • Grades 7 and 8 only: Dodgeball

All Sports Registration is managed online at Family ID/Arbiter. Payments may be made online at City Hall Systems (make sure to select "middle school") or sent to the office in the form of cash or check. Checks must be made out to Ipswich Middle School, with the student's name and sport on the memo line.

Fees


Intramural Sports: First intramural sport is $50.00, second intramural sport is an additional $25.00 (with an annual cap of $75.00) per student.


Interscholastic Sports: $75.00 per sport with a cap of $150.00 per school year, per student.

Concussion Form must be completed prior to participation. (Online at www.familyid.com)

Physical Examinations/Medical Coverage
All students must pass a physical examination within thirteen months of the start of each season. A physical exam will expire 13 months from the exam date and must be updated to continue participation. Physical examinations must be conducted by a Physician, Physician’s Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.
